249,686 miles, service records, no rust. No dents, one minor leather tear, and a completely solid powertrain. It needs a muffler, front struts, and that is all.

Are you buying this to DD or just to have another car?

To DD for now, just around town. My work schedule doesn't mix with my fiancees so we need a second car.

Did you have to search real hard to find something that spotless for the price?

No, I completely lucked into it. It even comes with an extra set of tires.

Ahhh another $800 car deal. I never really posted pics of mine for some reason. Got a 95 Saturn SL2 5MT. Only had 119k on it. Issues that needed repair was the drivers side window, sunroof and front brakes. Well also need a headliner but that's not a necessity. I kinda love this little car and I have ZERO plans to get rid of it. I'm keeping it until it falls apart on me.

Nice price. I'm not familiar with the I30. What engine is in it? If it's a VG series, then it should be bulletproof given how far into its lifespan it was. If it's VQ series, then I'm unsure of the reliability, but at least you get better MPGs.

They're very well equipped cars, and it seems very nice on the inside and outside. I'm hoping I can at least get another 100k out of it.

Everything seems to be really good. Once I get the front struts and muffler fixed, I think that's all it will need to pass Maryland inspection, which is really strict. If that is all it needs, I'll be pleased. The car looks 85% immaculate, and there's not a dent or bit of rust on the body. Everything mechanical powertrain wise looks to be great as well.

That's awesome. $800 car deals are the best. You can get some really good stuff if you're lucky. This is the second cheapest car I've purchased. (The first one was a paltry sum of $100 for a 1992 Ford Explorer XLT) This is also probably the nicest looking car I've ever purchased as well. Most miles I've personally seen on a car as well, but I'm not complaining. If the car performs as well as its physical condition and overall cleanliness indicate, I don't think I'll have an issue at all. No plans to sell it here, either. I'm a sucker for 90s-early 00s Japanese luxury cars. This is my second Infiniti, and my third car overall in that category. I hope it'll be the best $800 I've spent on a vehicle.

Yeah it is. I was so shocked. I mean, not a single dent, basically no rust, very solid body all around, very nice looking interior with only minor flaws. Besides a couple little issues in the interior, all it needs is a new muffler, front struts, and I think that's it. And even though one wheel is a steelie, the other rim is in the trunk of the car. There's a couple small scratches in the front, but nothing worrying. Even the engine bay is extremely clean. I was in complete awe. You just don't find that well-kept of a car with 250k miles on the clock. Absolute pure luck. I can't wait to actually pick it up and start DDing it. I think I could put another 50-100k on it without issue. I want to get it to 300k, and I think I could do that. It was even serviced regularly.

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree. My '98 Mazda Millenia that I had a while back had about 201k on it when I bought it, and the driver's seat was torn something terrible. There's just minor cracking on the bolsters of these, and one small tear in the passenger's seat, which I'm not even going to worry about right now.

How in the name of James T. Kirk does your car have less rust than mine?

Ah, okay. If they're not the greatest, I suggest looking at Pirelli Cinturato P7s if your budget can swing it. I have the on mine and they suit the cars mission pretty well.

I don't Vulcan know. That's a good question. My Durango has rust all over the place, as does my mom's, though I think they're bad for that. But a 15 year old car with a ton of miles and no rust? It is a rare find.

I paid ~$740 for a set at Discount Tire in November 2013, but that also includes the roadhazard warranty. I THINK Goodyear makes an acceptable/decent all-season in the Assurance ComforTred Touring, but stay away from the RS-A. Trust me.

I'd assume so. Tags are still valid till November of 2016. It's a two owner car, one family. The first owner owned a Nissan dealership, actually. Then the car went to his daughter in law, who kept up the service, and she's selling it because she needed a bigger car. I'm not lying when I say that I've seen this exact car being driven around before, and lusted after it, long before it was for sale. Then, about three months ago, I'd seen it parked, and didn't move. My stepuncle and his wife happened to be neighbors with them, coincidentally told us they was selling it. I knew the car they were talking about. Luckily, nobody else bought it. The day I went to go actually check the car out, I saw more than a handful of other Infiniti models, a ton of 5th gen Maximas as well. It was meant to be, i think. Everything just completely worked out going towards me getting the car. Now, once my tax return is in the bank, I'll be paying them for the car, and taking it home. I'll get it tagged, registered and insured, and then it'll be a steamy hot love affair with the car.

Wow, sorry, I rambled lol

I put Goodyear Wrangler tires on my Durango, and on my explorer a while back when I had it, and they do alright. It costs me about $365 for all four, including mount and balance.

Some of their tires are okay, but the RS-A, from what I gather, was standard on these cars, and everything I've read about it s negative.
